The 108th National Congress of the Italian Physical Society will be held at our Physics Department

The 108th National Congress of the Italian Physical Society, which celebrates its 125th anniversary, will take place between 12 and 16 September at our Physics Department, and will attract about 600 physicists from all over Italy. The inauguration will take place on 12 September in the Salone Pio XII, in via Sant’Antonio 5, near the historic headquarters of Milano University  in via Festa del Perdono. The program includes 10 General Reports, including one on the physics of flavor, one on solar neutrinos (held by Prof. Bellini of our INFN Unit) and one on proton therapy.

The recognition ceremony of the Department of Physics as a Historic Site of the European Physical Society will be held on 16 September.
